A barcode system consists of mobile computers, printers, handheld scanners, and supporting software to automate data collection when hand recording is not feasible or timely.
In Labii, both QR code and barcode are supported. While barcodes are most commonly used in labs, QR codes are more space-efficient. It is better to use them in smaller tubes.
Labii has developed a variety of widgets that allow you to display and manage barcodes to your specific needs. Section Barcode and QR code widgets enable you to display and print codes. Column Barcode and QR code widgets enable you to display codes in the list view.
This widget allows you to customize the value to be encoded, barcode formats, widths, and heights, as well as what labels to display.

Any label printer connected to your laptop can be used with Labii.
Labii comes with a built-in scan page where you can perform bulk editing, bulk printing, download, and view list of the scanned results.
Almost all laptops, tablets, and smart phones have cameras. With Labii, you can use the camera to scan QR codes and barcodes, without the need for additional hardware.
All commercial scanners are supported in Labii. Scanners are portable and can be used to scan samples and equipment in any location in your lab. Scanners can also be fixed and are used for batch scanning samples by simply moving tubes.
In the case of creating samples and assigning them to a storage box, it can be challenging to find the right storage identification and assign it to a sample. Labii thinks outside the box and provides the option for selecting the storage via a simple scan.
